Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola&#8217;s culinary talent show kicks off a new season this Monday, with a fresh take on the programme and  &#8230; a first episode filmed in Malaga.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The new season sees the return of 15 of the most charismatic celebrities who have taken part in previous seasons. They are ready to once again showcase their skills in the kitchens on La 1 channel. <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The new format is called MasterChef Celebrity Legends. It marks the programme&#8217;s tenth anniversary. <\/p>\n<ul class=\"v-cmp-rld__u\">\n<li class=\"v-cmp-rld__l\">\n<p><a class=\"v-a-lnk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surinenglish.com\/diario_sur\/noticias\/202608\/25\/externo\/surinenglish\/lifestyle\/rest-banderas-20260825-103316.xml#vtm_modulosEngag=noticiasrelacionadas-cmp-uno:surinenglish:noticia:1\" data-voc-vtm-id=\"in-text-traffic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/banderas-kB1B--366x256@Diario Sur.JPG\" class=\"v-a-img\" width=\"258\" height=\"180\" alt=\"Antonio Banderas reveals his favourite restaurants in Malaga: 'I don't go to posh places'\"\/><br \/>\n                                      <\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The premiere on Monday features Antonio Banderas as a guest. He also took part in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The first outdoor shoot took place in the gardens of the former Tabacalera building, in the capital of the Costa del Sol. It was filmed in front of a large crowd in May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\"> The contestants cooked a menu local chefs Cristina C\u00e1novas and Diego Aguilar, who run the Michelin-starred Palod\u00fa restaurant in the historic centre, had created.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\"> The challenge: leave a lasting impression on the 100 diners Banderas had invited. <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The celebrity chefs have described being part of the show as an &#8220;incredible experience&#8221;. Among them are bullfighter Manuel D\u00edaz &#8216;El Cordob\u00e9s&#8217;, comedian and actor Edu Soto, model Juan Betancourt, actress and singer Bibiana Fern\u00e1ndez, actress and comedian Anabel Alonso, Santiago Segura, Paz Vega and actor Juanjo Ballesta. <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">Comedian Florentino Fern\u00e1ndez (Flo) is also returning, alongside David Bustamante, Ruth Lorenzo, Pocholo Mart\u00ednez-Bordi\u00fa, TikToker and influencer Marina Rivers, rap singer Mala Rodr\u00edguez and fashion designer Mar\u00eda Escot\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">The presenters are, once again, Pepe Rodr\u00edguez, Jordi Cruz and Marta Sanahuja. Actress Loles Le\u00f3n is joining them on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\nCharity awards\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">This season features a variety of surprises for both the audience and the contestants, with new challenges that will put them to the test in every way. <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\">What remains the same is the charitable nature of the programme.
