A Flower Mound bakery\u2019s promotion of profanity-laced anti-Trump cookies drew wider attention Monday after Libs of TikTok highlighted the business\u2019s Facebook post ahead of the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas.<\/p>\n
Hive Bakery announced<\/a> Sunday that it plans to offer the cookies Tuesday through Saturday. A photo accompanying the post showed white-frosted cookies stamped with a profane message targeting President Donald Trump, with bee graphics obscuring part of the word.<\/p>\n \u201cWe read that Orange Face will be in Dallas this week for the GOP midterm Convention so we\u2019re making special cookies Tuesday-Saturday!\u201d the bakery wrote.<\/p>\n Bakery criticizes Trump<\/p>\n Hive\u2019s post listed grievances involving food, prices, abortion policy, immigration detention, wild horses, LGBT issues, what it described as a war with Iran, the Epstein files, tariffs, artificial intelligence data centers, Flock cameras and Project 2025.<\/p>\n The bakery wrote, \u201cOur food is poison,\u201d in the same post promoting the cookies.<\/p>\n It also used the phrases \u201cOrange Face,\u201d \u201cfa$cist regime\u201d and \u201ccriminal clowns.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely disgusted by these criminal clowns and what they\u2019ve done to America, and even more repulsed that Orange Face will be in our city this week. F$&k T$UMP,\u201d Hive wrote.<\/p>\n By 12:45 p.m. CDT Monday, the Facebook post displayed about 30,000 reactions and 1,300 comments.<\/p>\n In its X post<\/a>, Libs of TikTok called the promotion a \u201cfull blown TDS meltdown.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCan\u2019t they just like sell cakes and not make it about Trump??\u201d the account asked.<\/p>\n The X post displayed more than 68,000 views at the same time. Trump carried Denton County in 2024 by 13.1 percentage points, official results<\/a> show.<\/p>\n Trump heads to Dallas<\/p>\n Trump will appear during both nights of the Republican Midterm Convention, which runs Wednesday and Thursday at American Airlines Center, and deliver Thursday\u2019s keynote address. Vice President JD Vance will deliver Wednesday\u2019s keynote, according to the official schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n American Airlines Center will have capacity for more than 20,000 attendees, including media, an RNC spokesperson previously told<\/a> The Dallas Express.<\/p>\n This is not Hive\u2019s first viral political cookie promotion. On July 3, the bakery said<\/a> it would not celebrate Independence Day, called MAGA \u201ca cult\u201d and later sold cookies displaying an upside-down American flag with the words \u201cUNDER DISTRESS.\u201d<\/p>\n
