Lola Young<\/a> has teamed up with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)<\/a> for a new Lifelines T-shirt. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n

The T-shirt is part of CALM\u2019s campaign to raise funds for suicide prevention, with money going towards their services, which include a suicide prevention helpline and the mental health app CALMzone.<\/p>\n

Launched last year, CALM\u2019s \u2018Lifelines\u2019 collection also features designs from Fontaines D.C.<\/a>, Blossoms<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Inhaler<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Young\u2019s tee features her lyric, \u201cThere\u2019s a flicker of light. There\u2019s always morning after the night\u201d, which is taken from her song \u2018Flicker Of Light\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote this song about realising there is hope. I have often felt like there isn\u2019t, but there is always a reason to keep going,\u201d Young said. \u201cThat\u2019s even when you don\u2019t want to get out of bed, you do, and that is amazing, and you\u2019re still here, and you\u2019re still alive, and if anything, that\u2019s something to be proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n

Simon Gunning, CALM\u2019s CEO, added: \u201cWe couldn\u2019t be more grateful to Lola for supporting \u2018Lifelines\u2019 and showing just how powerful music can be as a force for good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Young has been open about her own struggles with her mental health. Earlier this year, she made her return to the live stage<\/a>\u00a0after\u00a0cancelling her 2025 tour<\/a>\u00a0to recover from exhaustion, having previously\u00a0collapsed on stage in New York City<\/a>. She would later go on to\u00a0open up about seeking treatment for addiction<\/a>\u00a0during that hiatus and attending AA meetings to help get things back on track.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0NME back in May<\/a>, Young told us that while she believes \u201call healing journeys are never ending\u201d, she is \u201cdefinitely in a much better place\u201d, and feels \u201cexcited and ready to perform and to release music\u201d now.<\/p>\n

As for the support she received from fans after opening up about her personal struggles, she added: \u201cMy fans inspire me in the same way I hope to inspire them. I feel like I\u2019ve never tried to be especially honest\u2026 it just comes very naturally to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really have any other choice but to be honest, so if people connect to that, and that\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Numerous artists also praised the \u2018Messy\u2019 singer for speaking so candidly about the intense demand faced by touring artists.\u00a0Lily Allen<\/a>, for example, said she was \u201cin awe\u201d of the BRIT and Grammy winner, and\u00a0Victoria Canal praised her for raising more awareness<\/a>\u00a0to the detrimental effect that touring schedules can have on a musician\u2019s mental health.<\/p>\n

As for if she can feel the tide turning when it comes to artists setting stronger boundaries to protect their wellbeing, Young told\u00a0NME: \u201cI never intended it to start a movement, but I hope that it does in some way.\u201d<\/p>\n
