NEW YORK (WABC) — The New York Road Runners will host over 8,600 runners in an upcoming one-mile race down Manhattan’s most famous thoroughfare.<\/p>\n
The 45th edition of the New Balance 5th Avenue Mile<\/a> will feature 15 Olympians and 18 international medalists representing 12 different countries on Sept. 13.<\/p>\n Leonard Bett, Olli Hoare, Luke Houser, Simon Koech, Stefan Nillessen and Adam Spencer will headline the one-mile road race men’s field.<\/p>\n Olympic medalist Courtney Frerichs will join stars Melissa Courtney-Bryant, Elise Cranny, Kayley DeLay, Susan Ejore-Sanders, Heather MacLean and Jemma Reekie for the women’s race.<\/p>\n After its 2025 debut, the Broadway Mile will return with more than 100 theater professionals running to support Broadway Cares\/Equity Fights AIDS. Tony Award-winning actors Ali Louis Bourzgui and Nikki James will join Jordan Fisher, Keri Rene Fuller, Jeremy Kushnier and more.<\/p>\n The one-mile race will also include the Back to School Mile for children ages 2-18.
