That legal win came because she did not get a fair hearing at the Swiss supreme court, but did not overturn track\u2019s rules.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-elevate inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmdq5saul0009356nlj4mw8gl@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            World Athletics drew up rules in 2018 forcing two-time Olympic champion Semenya and other athletes with DSD to suppress their elevated natural testosterone levels to be eligible for international women\u2019s events. Semenya refused to take medication.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-elevate inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmdq5saul000a356nncrr080f@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Now, the Monaco-based track body requires a \u201conce-in-a-lifetime test\u201d to determine athletes it says are biologically male with a Y chromosome.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-elevate inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmdq5saul000b356nx1yx4jux@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cWe are saying, at elite level, for you to compete in the female category, you have to be biologically female,\u201d World Athletics president Sebastian Coe said.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-elevate inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmdq5saul000c356nw1417rc2@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The governing body is covering up to $100 of the costs for each test with the protocol overseen by its member federations at the national level.
