Detectives found prescription medication for depression and epilepsy<\/a> in the Las Vegas home of Midtown mass shooter Shane Tamura, sources tell The Post.<\/p>\n

The discovery was made while executing a search warrant at his Sin City apartment Tuesday, a day after he stormed a New York skyscraper<\/a> with an AR-style rifle,<\/a> killing four people and wounding one before turning the gun on himself.<\/p>\n

Also found in the home was a note in which Tamura, 27, revealed he felt like a\u00a0\u201ccomplete disappointment\u201d<\/a>\u00a0to his parents, including his retired cop father, sources told The Post.<\/p>\n

While previously searching his car, investigators found a Colt Python .357-caliber handgun, along with a rifle case, ammunition and the migraine medication Sumatriptan.<\/p>\n

Also found was a note in which Tamura, 27, revealed he felt like a \u201ccomplete disappointment\u201d<\/a> to his parents, including his retired cop father, sources told The Post.<\/p>\n

Tamura had been\u00a0targeting the NFL<\/a>, which has its headquarters at 345 Park Avenue in Manhattan, blaming the league for what he\u00a0alleges is CTE\u00a0<\/a>\u2014 a degenerative brain disease brought on by\u00a0repeated\u00a0blows to the head.<\/p>\n

A note found on his body after the shooting expressed admiration for doctors specializing in CTE<\/a> as well as a documentary linking the NFL to the prevalence of the disease among its players.<\/p>\n

Tamura was a star running back in high school, but never played football at the collegiate or professional level.<\/p>\n

A suicide note found on Tamura after the rampage also included a plea to \u201cstudy my brain\u201d after his death, as CTE can only be diagnosed post-mortem.<\/p>\n

The mad\u00a0killer\u2019s brain will in fact be examined<\/a>\u00a0as part of his autopsy, NYC chief medical examiner Dr. Jason Graham said at a press briefing that a neuropathology expert was in the process of carrying out \u201cadditional testing\u201d on the gunman\u2019s gray matter.<\/p>\n
