Benjamin Sesko is one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> are on the hunt for a new striker following a turbulent 2024\/25 campaign that saw the team lose the Europa League<\/a> final to Tottenham and finish 15th in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> was reliant on Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> as the only striker in the squad for most of the season, and he had to call upon United academy star Chido Obi<\/a> towards the end of the season.<\/p>\n

So far this summer, United have added two forwards to the squad, including Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford<\/a>. Matheus Cunha was the first arrival<\/a> following a transfer from Wolves.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils are still looking for a goalscorer to improve on Rasmus Hojlund\u2019s<\/a> 10 goals from last season. They were linked with Liam Delap<\/a> before the English striker opted to join Chelsea following Ipswich Town\u2019s relegation from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

United have no other choice but to move on to other striker targets. It is understood that Ineos<\/a> need to sell players to make room for a new signing.<\/p>\n

Two strikers are being eyed by United, including RB Leipzig\u2019s Benjamin Sesko<\/a> and Aston Villa\u2019s Ollie Watkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Recent reports suggest United will prioritise a move for Sesko after following his development in recent years.<\/p>\n

Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions last term, and United are making their move by opening talks.<\/p>\n

Newcastle have been interested in the Slovenia international, but it appears as though the player would prefer a move to Old Trafford<\/a> over St. James\u2019 Park.<\/p>\n

Sesko has been with Leipzig for two years, and given he\u2019s only just 21, this is a player who has a bright future in the game. He stands at 6ft 4in and is a physical presence in and around the box.<\/p>\n

The Slovenian was recently asked about which strikers he idolised as a young forward when he revealed he grew up watching former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne guy I actually loved the most, of course besides Ronaldo and the guys always in the front page, was Ibrahimovic,\u201d Sesko previously told CBS Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me this a role model and the guy I watched unbelievable a lot.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s different than me, yes, but just some situations sometimes I try to copy because he\u2019s always been amazing.<\/p>\n

Sesko would watch videos of the former Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG star and claims he models his game on the iconic Swedish striker.<\/p>\n

Sesko rates his own kung-fu kick<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that Ibrahimovic enjoys the odd kung-fu kick.<\/p>\n

The Swede would often celebrate goals by swinging his leg in a kung-fu style and never looked shy of using his combative abilities, especially on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Sesko revealed that he fancies himself as a kung-fu artist on the pitch too.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can do the leg thing, you know like up and so,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n
