\n\tNeal McDonough<\/a>, known for his work on Yellowstone, Suits, Minority Report and more, is opening up about what he believes has negatively impacted his career. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn a recent episode of the Nothing Left Unsaid<\/a> podcast, McDonough claimed that Hollywood \u201cturned\u201d on him because of his no-kiss clause in his contracts, which made him unable to book acting gigs.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019d always had in my contracts that I wouldn\u2019t kiss another woman on-screen,\u201d the Desperate Housewives<\/a> actor said. \u201cMy wife didn\u2019t really have a problem with it. It was me really who had a problem. I was like, \u2018Yeah, I don\u2019t want to put you through it. I know we\u2019re going to start having kids, and I don\u2019t want to put my kids through it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMcDonough married his wife, Ruve McDonough, in 2003 and the couple share three children. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Band of Brothers<\/a> actor then explained how his no-kissing co-stars rule impacted his ability to land jobs for two years.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIntimacy is a whole different thing for me. So, when I wouldn\u2019t do it and and they couldn\u2019t understand it, Hollywood just completely turned on me and they wouldn\u2019t let me be part of the show anymore. For two years, I couldn\u2019t get a job, and I lost everything you could possibly imagine,\u201d he continued. \u201cNot just houses and material things, but your swagger, your cool, who you are, your identity, everything. My identity was an actor, and a really good one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile McDonough didn\u2019t specify at what point in his career this affected him, he\u2019s been cast in many films and TV shows over the years.
