{"id":106737,"date":"2025-07-31T05:21:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T05:21:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/106737\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T05:21:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T05:21:09","slug":"rumour-mongering-alexander-isak-training-in-spain-following-transfer-request","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/106737\/","title":{"rendered":"Rumour Mongering: Alexander Isak Training in Spain Following Transfer Request"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"lu24Il\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cominghomenewcastle.sbnation.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Newcastle<\/a> remain resistant to selling <a href=\"https:\/\/liverpooloffside.sbnation.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool<\/a> target Alexander Isak, but the relationship between the Tyneside club and the superstar striker may be broken beyond repair and the idea of the 25-year-old wearing black and white next season seems increasingly unlikely.<\/p>\n<p id=\"vHwbmk\">The latest, by way of Basque outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diariovasco.com\/san-sebastian\/isak-sansebastian-zubieta-acuerdo-liverpool-20250730195906-nt.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">El Diario Vasco<\/a>, claims Isak has in fact left Newcastle entirely and returned to San Sebastian to train at the facilities of Real Sociedad, his former club where the Swedish international spent three seasons before joining Newcastle in 2022.<\/p>\n<p id=\"uIjmp3\">Previously, Isak backed out of Newcastle\u2019s Asian pre-season tour after complaining of a minor thigh injury\u2014though scans of the leg subsequently showed no damage\u2014but at the time the striker had been reported to have remained on Tyneside to rehabilitate and train.<\/p>\n<p id=\"i5uKB1\">Players returning to their former clubs to train when they have fallen out with their current clubs isn\u2019t unheard of, and assuming the local report is accurate it speaks to a relationship between Isak and Newcastle that may be even more degraded than previously thought.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ivnNCP\">The Basque outlet further claim Isak submitted a transfer request to Newcastle earlier in the week.
