Cool off with flavors from the 2025 Summer Blizzard menu like the new Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake and Mixing Bowl Mashup; or go for classics like S\u2019mores and Cotton Candy. Every treat helps support lifesaving care for Texas kids. <\/p>\n

Houston Restaurant Weeks<\/a> officially kicks off on Friday, August 1 running through Labor Day Monday, September 1. The Houston Food Bank\u2019s epic annual fundraiser invites restaurants across the city to multi-course menus fo dinner ($39 or 55), lunch ($25) and brunch ($25), with a $1 to $5 donation to the Houston Food Bank and its efforts to fight hunger across the region. This year\u2019s restaurant list is now live, featuring featuring exciting newcomers like Barbacana<\/b> and Okto<\/b>, plus returning favorites from Pondicheri<\/b> to longtime gem Rainbow Lodge<\/b>. <\/p>\n

Starting Friday, August 1, Craft Pita<\/a> introduces full-service dinner on weekends at both its Fountainview and West University locations. Available Friday through Sunday evenings, the new service debuts alongside a $39 five-course prix fixe menu for Houston Restaurant Weeks, spotlighting Craft Pita\u2019s signature Mediterranean flavors. Guests can still opt for counter service, but the full-service experience offers a more elevated, family-style vibe. Reservations available via Resy.<\/p>\n

Chef Jason Gould is turning up the heat at Common Bond Bistro & Bakery<\/a> with two limited-time smash burgers available at all five locations. Try the fiery High Heat Smash Burger with smoked queso, roasted poblanos, and ghost pepper aioli; or go classic with the Smothered & Covered, stacked with grilled onions and cheddar. Both come with fries and are $14.99 each \u2014 available now through the end of August.<\/p>\n

Heights Bier Garten<\/a>, 1433 North Shepherd, is once again getting down on the White Linen Night festivities this Saturday, August 2, with live music from 6 to 10 p.m., a Best Dressed Contest, and featured sips from Herradura Tequila and Gin Mare. Snap pics at the photobooth, rock your crispest whites and enjoy the open-air vibes all day. Doors open at 11 a.m. <\/p>\n
