NC State football coach Dave Doeren had a very good end to his summer.<\/p>\n

Doeren made a hole-in-one on a par-3 course in Missouri on Sunday, celebrating the accomplishment by running around once he discovered the ball in the hole. He used a 60-degree wedge for his first hole-in-one.<\/p>\n

In a video, posted to the NC State football team\u2019s X account<\/a>, Doeren is seen approaching the green with his sons Luke and Connor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no way it went in,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

A few seconds later, he said: \u201cWhere else could it be?\u201d<\/p>\n

And sure enough it was in the hole on the 76-yard final hole on the par-3 Cliffhangers Golf Course<\/a> at Big Cedar Nature Golf in Hollister, Missouri.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hole is named the \u201cIntimidator\u201d and it features a large bunker between the tee and the green and another behind the green.<\/p>\n

When Doeren saw it, he took off running with his putter held high.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you kidding me?\u201d Doeren said.<\/p>\n

He pulled the ball, which had a Wolfpack logo on it, out of the cup and posed for pictures.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo do that with two of my three sons with me was pretty special,\u201d Doeren said Wednesday after Wolfpack\u2019s first practice. \u201cGood karma. When I looked in the hole, I saw the logo of the wolf looking back at me and it just made me laugh. That\u2019s good karma. It was awesome. Beautiful place, too. The best part of it was to celebrate it with Connor and Luke.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Doeren, 53, is beginning his 13th season with the Wolfpack.
