{"id":107503,"date":"2025-07-31T12:16:49","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T12:16:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/107503\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T12:16:49","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T12:16:49","slug":"ferrari-extends-fred-vasseurs-contract-as-f1-team-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/107503\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrari extends Fred Vasseur&#8217;s contract as F1 team boss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/team\/ferrari\/3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ferrari<\/a> has renewed its contract with Formula 1 team boss Fred Vasseur, ending speculation about the Frenchman&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n<p>Vasseur joined from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/team\/sauber\/9\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Sauber<\/a> ahead of the 2023 season replacing Mattia Binotto and implemented a raft of behind-the-scenes changes to return the Prancing Horse to the top of F1.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrari finished second in the 2024 constructors&#8217; championship but has since stagnated, with defending champions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/team\/mclaren\/10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">McLaren<\/a> romping towards the 2025 crown.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/f1\/news\/ferrari-f1-boss-vasseur-criticises-italian-media-after-recent-speculation\/10732426\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">It led to speculation from Italian media that Vasseur would be leaving at the end of his original deal,<\/a> which was set to expire this year, amid alleged interest from Ferrari&#8217;s top management in Christian Horner.<\/p>\n<p>But Ferrari has now drawn a line under any future doubts by re-signing Vasseur on fresh terms in what is expected to be another multi-year deal.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m grateful for the trust Ferrari continues to place in me,&#8221; Vasseur said. &#8220;This renewal is not just a confirmation &#8211; it\u2019s a challenge to keep progressing, to stay focused, and to deliver.<\/p>\n<p>   <img decoding=\"async\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/lewis-hamilton-ferrari.jpg\" alt=\"Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/p>\n<p class=\"title\">Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari<\/p>\n<p class=\"photographer\">Photo by: Erik Junius<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past 30 months, we\u2019ve laid strong foundations, and now we must build on them with consistency and determination.
