{"id":107859,"date":"2025-07-31T15:25:15","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T15:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/107859\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T15:25:15","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T15:25:15","slug":"two-killed-in-head-on-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/107859\/","title":{"rendered":"Two killed in head-on collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/img-9428.jpeg\" class=\"header-image\" alt=\"Two killed in head-on collision\"\/>\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Two drivers are deceased after a head-on collision in Denbigh, east of Bancroft.<\/p>\n<p>Officers with the Upper Ottawa Valley, Bancroft and Renfrew detachments of the OPP responded to the crash, which happened on Highway 28 near Trout Lake Road just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.\u00a0 Members of the Denbigh Fire Department and Renfrew County Paramedics also responded to scene.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene and there were no passengers.<\/p>\n<p>The identities of the decreased males have not been confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Highway 28 remained closed overnight for the on-scene investigation and reopened at approximately 5:30 this morning.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is continuing with assistance of an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigation Team members.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; Two drivers are deceased after a head-on collision in Denbigh, east of Bancroft.
