Already having taken a few blows early in camp<\/a>, the Cowboys offensive line may have received another on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Cowboys starting left guard Tyler Smith left Thursday\u2019s practice early, walking off the field under his own power and into the tunnel.<\/p>\n

After Smith\u2019s exit, team owner Jerry Jones told The Dallas Morning News<\/a> that Smith left practice with tendinitis in his knee. Smith told reporters he was \u201cfine\u201d and did not have a noticeable limp as he made his way off the practice field.<\/p>\n

Smith is entering his fourth season with the Cowboys and has started all 47 games he\u2019s played thus far in his NFL career. The 2022 first-round draft pick has been selected to two Pro Bowls. He\u2019s also due for a raise soon<\/a>, in the final year of his rookie contract with a club option year in 2026.<\/p>\n
