PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Strong to severe thunderstorms are moving through this evening, leading to flash flooding.<\/p>\n
Earlier tornado warnings for several counties in New Jersey have expired.<\/p>\n
An AccuWeather Alert has been posted for the threat of flash flooding through this evening. Storms will be slow-moving and can drop several inches of rain very quickly.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the storms, temperatures climbed into the 90s, which means we will end July on a steamy and stormy note.<\/p>\n
Severe storms through this evening will be capable of producing frequent lightning, locally strong winds and small hail.<\/p>\n
FRIDAY: A leftover morning shower. Otherwise, it’s breezy, cloudy and much cooler, high 75. Some late day breaks of sun are possible.<\/p>\n
SATURDAY: Plenty of sun with lower humidity. A beautiful start to the weekend, high 81.<\/p>\n
SUNDAY: A sunny and beautiful day with low humidity, high 84.<\/p>\n
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer, high 88.<\/p>\n
TUESDAY: Another sunny with low humidity, high 88.<\/p>\n
WEDNESDAY: Some sun, watch for the chance of a shower, high 85.<\/p>\n
THURSDAY: Mix of clouds and sun, slight chance of a shower, high 84.<\/p>\n
