Selena Gomez<\/a> is ushering in a new era for Rare Beauty<\/a> with a perfume campaign that features the “Calm Down” singer posing in pink silk lingerie. Taking to Instagram to tease the upcoming release of Rare Eau de Parfum, Gomez shared a carousel of sultry images. She also shared the brand’s official promo video for the new product.<\/p>\n “I wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment,” she wrote<\/a>. “Rare Eau de Parfum goes from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends and always feels just right.”<\/p>\n Gomez added that the scent should feel “personal” and was “made to be layered.”<\/p>\n Rare Eau de Parfum is personal for Gomez, too. In an interview with WWD<\/a>, the Bling Ring actress explained that she wore the test scent for “some of [her] best memories,” including her Taco Bell-themed engagement<\/a> to Benny Blanco<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was just something that made me feel like a piece of me,” she continued. “And I wanted everyone to enjoy it. As for the bottle design? It was made with accessibility in mind, thanks to the singer’s own battle with lupus<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have dexterity problems from my lupus, so sometimes it\u2019s hard for me to open a bottle of water or do anything,\u201d she told the publication \u201cSometimes I\u2019ve had to use a spray and, like, put both my fingers on it. It\u2019s not as sad as it sounds.
