(WJAR) \u2014 Massachusetts Environmental Police said the missing lizard was spotting in Douglas. <\/p>\n
Officials said the water monitor was seen on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
After getting the report, officers responded to the scene but they could not find the reptile.<\/p>\n
“We are working closely with reptile experts, Rain Forest Reptiles, to help us locate and capture the animal,” Massachusetts Environmental Police said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Anyone who spots the water monitor is asked to call Massachusetts Environmental Police.<\/p>\n
The water monitor first went missing out of a Webster home earlier this month.<\/p>\n
It was then spotted in Thompston, Connecticut, last week.<\/p>\n
Environmental police remind residents to not approach the water monitor if spotted.<\/p>\n
It may associate humans with food and could approach, according to officials. <\/p>\n
