Taking place Monday, Aug. 4, after 5 p.m., all White Dog locations will begin to raise funds for Alpha Bravo Canine<\/a>. The nonprofit is the city\u2019s first and only nonprofit organization that donates service dogs to U.S. veterans suffering from medical and psychological problems as a result of their active combat duty.\u00a0<\/p>\n Each location will feature puppy-kissing booths, signature shortbread bone-shaped cookies to go ($10 per bag), plus, menu items like pup-cakes, pup-inspired cupcakes ($5 for two) and a gourmet flight of hot dogs ($40) with all proceeds benefiting Alpha Bravo Canine.The hot dog menu spans a Coney Island Dog made with Green Meadow farm beef chili, a Southwestern Dog doused with guacamole, the White Dog\u00a0option with white truffle aioli or the Backyard Dog\u00a0with ketchup, mustard,<\/a> and a BBQ potato chip crumble.<\/p>\n Guests who cannot attend the event but wish to contribute can donate now through Aug. 4 at any White Dog Cafe location by adding a desired donation amount at the bottom of their meal check.<\/p>\n Various locations, whitedog.com<\/a><\/p>\n Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia<\/strong><\/p>\n Locals can bring their furry friends to this Center City locale to indulge in their Paws + Play Package this month. The add-on experience includes a welcome gift for your pup (aka dog treats), food and water bowls, an in-room dog bed, a $10 gift certificate and 10% discount for local business Salty Paws, plus\u00a0a waived pet fee.<\/p>\n Additionally, the hotel\u2019s restaurant, Patchwork, will also offer dog-friendly dishes for room service. Choices span Berries & Cream with mixed berries and heavy cream with walnuts, Chicken & Grains with a chicken breast, mixed grains and spinach, and a Beef and Vegetable option with mixed vegetables, a baked burger patty and a slice of baguette. The menu is available for anyone staying at Square 1682\u2019s hotel (the Kimpton Hotel Palomar) for in-room dining. Options span the South Paw Salmon ($10, a spring green salad mixed with cucumbers, and strawberries), Bulking Season ($11, grilled chicken, white rice, and Greek yogurt), the Chewsteak ($12, made with shaved ribeye, cooper American cheese, and a pumpkin seed oat crumble), and Pawfait Power Bowl ($10, Greek yogurt, scrambled eggs, bananas, and berries).<\/p>\n Every pup who stays at the hotel throughout the month of August will also receive\u00a0a\u00a0Tito\u2019s-branded swag bag with items like a water bowl, leash, tote bag, hats, toys, and more.
