BIRMINGHAM, Ala. \u2014 The UAB Health System and UnitedHealthcare have reached an agreement in principle on a new health insurance contract. This development ensures that UnitedHealthcare members can continue to access care from all UAB and UAB-affiliated medical providers without any disruption to services.<\/p>\n

Once completed, UAB said the new contract will be effective for a multi-year term, providing stability and continued access to high-quality care for patients across the state.<\/p>\n UnitedHealthcare said the agreement will provide continued, uninterrupted network access to UAB.
