HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) \u2014 Actor, comedian and New York Times bestselling author Nick Offerman will visit Harrisburg in September to celebrate the release of his new book and headline the Harrisburg Book Festival. <\/p>\n
Offerman, known for roles like Ron Swanson on \u201cParks and Recreation\u201d and Bill in \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d, will give a speech and woodworking demonstration at FNB Field on Wednesday, Oct. 15.<\/p>\n
The book, co-authored by Lee Buchanan, is called “Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop’s Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery” and contains a woodworking guide with projects for families.<\/p>\n
Tickets must be bought ahead of time for $65 each, and each ticket comes with a signed copy of Offerman\u2019s new book. There will not be a book signing with the author.<\/p>\n
The event is set to include a conversation with Offerman, along with a live woodworking demonstration, songs and jokes.<\/p>\n
Doors will open at 6 p.m. the day of the event ahead of its 7 p.m. start time.<\/p>\n
