\n\tTom Holland<\/a>\u2018s new Spider-Man suit received the briefest of teasers in a short video for Marvel and Sony\u2019s upcoming \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA nine-second video shows a close-up of Holland\u2019s Spidey suit with the caption \u201csomething brand new is coming.\u201d It was posted on Aug. 1, which happens to be national Spider-Man Day.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the end of \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home,\u201d there\u2019s a quick shot of Holland swinging through New York City in a new suit that resembles the classic, bright red-and-blue costume from the comics. At first glance, the \u201cBrand New Day\u201d teaser seems like it\u2019s similar to that costume, with its sharper colors and raised black edges. There\u2019s also a faint, black spider webbing design that\u2019s a nod to the original Marvel comics.<\/p>\n

\n\tMarvel fans will have to wait a year for \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day,\u201d which is the next entry in the MCU. Holland will suit up and swing back into theaters on July 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fourth \u201cSpider-Man\u201d film is directed by\u00a0Destin Daniel Cretton\u00a0from a screenplay by\u00a0Chris McKenna\u00a0and\u00a0Erik Sommers. Cretton is no stranger to the MCU as he previously helmed 2021\u2019s \u201cShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.\u201d That Marvel film was praised for its crazy kung-fu action sequences and story, which seems like a great fit for Holland\u2019s wall-crawling superhero.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d will see the return of fellow franchise stars like Zendaya, who plays Peter Parker\u2019s girlfriend M.J. Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon, who\u2019s his best friend Ned Leeds. There are some major additions to the cast as well, like Jon Bernthal, who plays the violent Punisher. He was last seen in Season 1 of \u201cDaredevil: Born Again\u201d and is expected to return for Season 2, along with a TV special. Bernthal\u2019s \u201cThe Bear\u201d co-star Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas is also joining \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day,\u201d as is \u201cStranger Things\u201d standout Sadie Sink. Their roles remain mysteries, but fans have theorized Sink could be playing the red-haired \u201cX-Men\u201d character Jean Grey, who\u2019s a powerful telepath.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe last time Holland suited up as Spidey was in 2021\u2019s \u201cNo Way Home,\u201d which saw past Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield cross over into the MCU.
