PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A woman is fighting for life after being shot early Friday morning in north Phoenix. <\/p>\n

Police responded to the reported shooting just after 6 a.m. near 40th Street and Meadow Drive<\/a>, north of Bell Road. Officers at the scene found a woman who had been shot. <\/p>\n

First responders took the woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Officers are still at the scene investigating what led to this shooting. No suspect information has been provided.<\/p>\n
