Brenden “Butterbean” Queen qualified P2 behind Brent Crews. When asked about it, the CARS Tour champion gave a heavy backhanded compliment.

These two drivers have had run-ins this season. Brent Crews has won two ARCA races. The first came at Phoenix, a race that Butterbean Queen dominated for the most part. Crews used his door out of Turn 4 in overtime to get the win.

When these two get near each other on the track, it usually gets physical. Butterbean is already throwing out somewhat hostile words ahead of the race tonight.

Wyatt Watson of Frontstretch asked Queen about Crews taking the pole. He was very clear in his response.

“It’s the first thing he’s accomplished without running into somebody,” Butterbean Queen said, according to Watson. Tonight’s race is going to be very interesting.

Iowa Speedway is a short track, but it is a very fast short track. Designed by Rusty Wallace, it has hosted the lower series of NASCAR in the past. For the second season in a row, the Cup Series is racing at Iowa. The action tonight in the ARCA Menards Series gets the weekend started.

So far this season, Queen has won four races. Crews is coming off a win from last week at IRP. Let’s see how things shake out tonight.

Butterbean Queen looking for fifth ARCA win of 2025

So far this season, Butterbean Queen has looked like the best driver in ARCA. He leads the championship points standings by 26 points over Lawless Alan. On top of his four wins, he has led over 600 laps. The driver with the second-most laps led is Treyten Lapcevich at 200.

We have seen Queen and Crews battle it out multiple times this season. It feels like whoever makes the best adjustments going into the competition, caution is going to be the team and driver who wins the race.

Crews is a fantastic talent at 17. He’s also not afraid to be aggressive. These two drivers know each other well from racing in the CARS Tour prior to this season. So, the beef does seem genuine with the history that they have.

Tonight’s race at Iowa Speedway is going to be interesting. We could see this once again go down to the wire between the two drivers. With how well they have both raced this season, it would not shock me.

We’ve got a little bit of driver beef ahead of tonight’s ARCA Menards Series race at Iowa Speedway.…

[46
1406,62,67,132,68
0":"post-111485","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nascar","8":"tag-nascar","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-united-states","11":"tag-unitedstates","12":"tag-us
["GET
