JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Thousands of Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> fans filled EverBank Stadium Friday evening, trading the usual Miller Electric Center practice facility view for their first glimpse of the team on their home field this season.<\/p>\n

The scrimmage offered fans a preview of the 2025 season, with the offense and defense facing off in an environment that mimicked regular-season game conditions.<\/p>\n

Despite the August heat, the atmosphere resembled a regular-season Sunday, with enthusiastic supporters dripped in their Jaguars gear and ready to cheer on their team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are out here for the Jags scrimmage game,\u201d Vernesta Christopher said.<\/p>\n

Many fans danced their way into the stadium, exemplifying the festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The scrimmage generated particular interest among fans eager to see rookie Travis Hunter, who has been making waves at training camp with his potential to play both offense and defense. <\/p>\n

Franco Salgado, a young fan from St. Augustine, shared his excitement about Hunter\u2019s unique skill set.<\/p>\n

\u201cCouple of picks and touchdowns, both sides, one of the first players in the NFL to do it, it would be crazy to see it happen for the first time,\u201d Salgado said, who attended the scrimmage with his father after recently trading his Giants gear for Jags gear.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking forward to seeing a couple games, and we\u2019re excited. It\u2019s great to be here,\u201d said Charlie Salgado, Franco\u2019s father.<\/p>\n

The strong turnout demonstrated the growing enthusiasm for the Jaguars in Jacksonville, with fans expressing high hopes for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe city supports you. Everyone is here. We are rooting for you,\u201d Darryl Alexander said. \u201cWe don\u2019t want to see the team fail. We are hoping to see you get to the Super Bowl this year or next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Friday\u2019s scrimmage provided a unique opportunity for fans to see the team in action, those who missed out will have one more chance to catch open training camp. <\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s session is already sold out, and Tuesday marks the final opportunity for fans to attend training camp before the preseason begins.<\/p>\n
