\n\tIf there\u2019s any truth to rumors that Tom Holland<\/a> is in the running to play James Bond<\/a>, he\u2019s keeping it top-secret for now.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the BAFTA winner returns to one major franchise with Friday\u2019s Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> teaser, he recently commented on \u201cspeculation\u201d that he\u2019s up for the coveted part in the Denis Villeneuve<\/a>-helmed update of the franchise.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cListen, there\u2019s speculation at the minute. We\u2019ll keep it to a minimum for now,\u201d he said in a video on Gordon Ramsay\u2019s YouTube<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019ll get there one day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHolland added, \u201cEvery young British actor, it\u2019s the pinnacle of working in our industry. I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive. I could never have dreamed to have the career that I\u2019ve had.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDaniel Craig<\/a> played the iconic role in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021). Following previous Bond stars Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan, Craig\u2019s successor has not yet been chosen.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn June, Amazon MGM Studios<\/a> officially tapped Villeneuve to direct the next installment<\/a>, and this week, Steven Knight<\/a> was announced to write the film<\/a> amid the studio\u2019s new 007<\/a> partnership with returning producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Tanya Lapointe will executive produce.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter announcing that Amy Pascal and David Heyman will produce the next film<\/a> in the franchise, Amazon MGM\u2019s Courtenay Valenti and Sue Kroll said at CinemaCon in April that the pair of \u201cfilmmaking legends\u201d is currently in London working on the film<\/a>.<\/p>\n
