Jacksonville Jaguars star rookie Travis Hunter meets with media, and discusses the team’s plan with him to play on both sides of the field.<\/p>\n
Travis Hunter<\/a> finally made his quick change during the same practice<\/a>.<\/p>\n After playing offense four days and defense three days during training camp, the Jaguars<\/a>‘ multi-talented first-round rookie did both on the same day during the team’s EverBank Stadium Scrimmage<\/a> on Aug. 1.<\/p>\n Hunter made more of an impact on offense with three receptions from quarterback Trevor Lawrence,<\/a> including one for a 21-yard gain. He also had what looked to be a TD pass on third-and-goal from the 5-yard line knocked down at the last second by linebacker Ventrell Miller.<\/a><\/p>\n Hunter didn’t have any stats on defense and yielded one catch on one target, a 16-yard gain by wide receiver Joshua Cephus<\/a> from Nick Mullens<\/a> when Hunter appeared to bite on a fake by Cephus.<\/p>\n But it was perhaps the major reason more than 11,000 fans came to the stadium and braved the torrid head: to see Hunter do his thing on both sides of the ball.<\/p>\n How many snaps did Travis Hunter play in the stadium scrimmage?<\/p>\n Offense:<\/strong> Hunter played 17 snaps. He caught three passes for 43 yards, matching his high for catches in one training camp session.<\/p>\n Defense:<\/strong> Hunter played 21 snaps. He was targeted once and gave up a catch. He came up in run support several times but did not make a tackle.<\/p>\n What are Travis Hunter’s total snaps?<\/p>\n Offense:<\/strong> He has 89 snaps on offense, with 15 targets and 13 receptions.<\/p>\n Defense:<\/strong> Hunter has 88 snaps.
