\n\tAfter Sony Pictures<\/a> teased Spider-Man<\/a>\u2018s new ensemble<\/a>, Tom Holland<\/a> suited up in the web-slinger\u2019s costume for a short teaser.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday, the BAFTA winner revealed his costume for the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>, set to premiere in theaters on July 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAre you ready? \u2013 7.31.2026,\u201d Holland captioned the clip<\/a>, in which his silhouette is revealed in the massive doorway of a soundstage before walking to the camera in costume.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe studio previously teased that \u201csomething brand new is coming<\/a>,\u201d sharing a first glimpse at the superhero uniform on Friday, marking the 63rd anniversary of the character\u2019s first comic book appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn October, Sony added the follow-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) to its summer 2026 schedule<\/a>, later revealing the title<\/a> in March at CinemaCon.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m obviously over the moon and so excited<\/a>,\u201d Holland previously said. \u201cPlaying Spider-Man is like hanging out with an old pal. And I think we were really restricted with what we could do in the last movie because of COVID; we shot the entire film on stages.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHolland continued, \u201cNow, we\u2019re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we\u2019re starting in Glasgow and we\u2019re gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we\u2019re putting together. So it\u2019s gonna feel like making [2017\u2019s] Spider-Man 1 again. It\u2019s been such a long time since I\u2019ve done it, it\u2019s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we\u2019re putting together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHelmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, producers include Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige returning. Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ, with production expected to commence after she and Holland both have completed filming Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey. Sadie Sink and Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.<\/p>\n
