TNT Sports analyst and former NBA player Grant Hill will join NBC Sports\u2019 NBA coverage as a game analyst for the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait to get started this fall.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hill will continue his role at TNT Sports as a college basketball analyst for the men\u2019s NCAA Tournament as well as TNT\u2019s Big East and Big 12 basketball coverage.<\/p>\n

Hill, 52, played 18 seasons in the NBA as a member of the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers. He was named NBA Co-Rookie of the Year in 1995 and is a seven-time All-Star. He also won a gold medal with Team USA at the 1996 Olympics. He retired from the NBA in 2013 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.<\/p>\n
Hill has worked in broadcasting for over 10 years and also serves as USA Basketball\u2019s managing director of the U.S. men\u2019s national team, helping lead them to a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics.<\/p>\n
In July 2024, the NBA signed an 11-year media rights deal with NBC\/Peacock, ABC\/ESPN and Amazon Prime Video beginning in the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n
Hill brings solid and dependable voice to NBC<\/p>\n
With two new players entering the NBA media rights space (NBC Universal and Amazon Prime Video) this fall, we\u2019ve seen a flood of NBA on-air hires over the past couple of months. Not surprisingly, those who previously worked for Turner Sports were going to be coveted \u2014 and many have already landed at new gigs, including Ian Eagle (Amazon Prime Video), Kevin Harlan (who has a verbal agreement with Amazon), Reggie Miller (NBC), Stan Van Gundy (Amazon Prime Video), Taylor Rooks (Amazon Prime Video) and several others.<\/p>\n
Hill is the latest to find a new on-air role, and it\u2019s not surprising given his high profile as a Hall of Fame basketball player, his work for CBS and Turner on March Madness, as well as his role with USA Basketball. Hill isn\u2019t a flashy analyst, but he\u2019s always prepared and has a great reputation at the places that have employed him.
