Jordan Spieth left <\/strong>PGA Tour<\/strong><\/a> fans in stitches after hot mics caught an almighty F-bomb from the American golfer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spieth is currently playing the Wyndham Championship<\/a> at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is the final event of the PGA Tour’s regular season before the playoffs begin next week in Memphis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A lot is on the line for Spieth<\/a>, who finds himself just inside the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Only the top 70 players at the conclusion of this tournament make it through to the FedEx St. Jude Championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Which is why Spieth was so on edge during the first and second round as every single shot matters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spieth comfortably made the cut this week but hit a wild shot down the 14th hole on Friday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

No sooner did Spieth’s golf ball leave the club face did he shout: “Son of a b—-! F—!”<\/p>\n

“Jordan Spieth is box office,” one X user wrote.<\/p>\n

Another added: “Keeping it classy.”<\/p>\n

This user joked: “He should be banned!”<\/p>\n

Spieth dropped a shot on the hole, but managed to card a level par round of 70 to back up his opening 65.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is well in contention heading into the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It wasn’t the only notable moment for Spieth at the Wyndham.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the first round, he made an all-time par save at the 18th.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spieth went way left with his tee shot then attempted a bold recovery shot over a creek that left him in a bunker next to the green.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He got up and down by holing a 15-footer for par.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spieth then admitted something golf fans have known about for years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I ended up in a pretty bad spot, definitely could have punched out and probably had a good look and that probably should have been in play,” Spieth said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It’s just really hard for me to play the smart play if I see anything else.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t mean to hit it in the bunker. I walked away with a four that I truly didn’t deserve.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I hit a great putt and that was the only shot that I could say was a really good one on that hole.”<\/p>\n

Spieth not giving up on Ryder Cup chances<\/p>\n

Jordan Spieth also has his mind on making another Ryder Cup<\/a> appearance for Team USA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At this stage, it seems more than likely that Spieth will have to rely on a captain’s pick from Keegan Bradley if he is to represent the red, white and blue at Bethpage Black.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spieth conceded his chances of making the 12-man squad are slim at the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I think if I’m able to get on a good run and contend and have a few high finishes and maybe get a win or so, you know, I make a good case,” Spieth said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“But I’m on the outside looking in. And it was going to be a tall task off of my season hurt last year and starting late this year \u2013 it was just going to be a lot to ask.”<\/p>\n

If Spieth were to get the nod from Bradley, he would make his sixth appearance at the Ryder Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He represented Team USA in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
