Diego Leon is settling into life as a Manchester United player following a transfer from his boyhood club Cerro Porteno.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After agreeing to join Manchester United<\/a> in January, Diego Leon<\/a> linked up with Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> squad earlier this summer at Carrington<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leon featured in the first pre-season friendly against Leeds before making the squad for the US tour, and United fans<\/a> have had two opportunities since then to see him in action. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The Paraguayan left-back could feature in United\u2019s third game of the Premier League Summer Series when they take on Everton. He recorded an assist for Ethan Williams<\/a> in the previous game against Bournemouth as United ran out 4-1 winners.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen what kind of role Leon will have in the team when the competitive season begins. He is currently behind Patrick Dorgu<\/a> in the pecking order for starting places, but the 18-year-old has plenty of time on his side to develop his game.<\/p>\n

Leon has impressed on tour this summer.<\/p>\n

After making his debut in United\u2019s scoreless draw against Leeds, Leon played against West Ham and Bournemouth in the United States.<\/p>\n

Leon caught up with club media for an interview with MUTV when he revealed what has surprised him most about being on tour with United.<\/p>\n

The youngster took note of the full stadiums and compared the friendlies to similar fixtures he experienced at Cerro Porteno.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s incredible,\u201d Leon told ManUtd.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am really enjoying being here with team-mates and learning a lot of things.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the first time I have had friendlies like this. I thought it was going to be the stadium half-empty before entering the pitch but then, I hear a sound that surprised me! The stadium is full, the fans. It\u2019s all crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leon will be preparing himself to be available when United start their competitive campaign against Arsenal at Old Trafford<\/a> in two weeks.<\/p>\n

Leon taking regular English lessons<\/p>\n

Leon speaks Spanish and will be familiarising himself with the fellow Spanish-speaking players in the dressing room.<\/p>\n

That said, he will eventually want to develop his relationship with the rest of the dressing room.<\/p>\n

That is why Leon has been taking regular English lessons since joining United.<\/p>\n

He spoke about his experiences so far, adding: \u201cI talk with almost all of the players and they advise me, both on the pitch and personally.<\/p>\n
