{"id":11412,"date":"2025-06-24T18:30:17","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T18:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11412\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T18:30:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T18:30:17","slug":"ford-recalls-133k-suvs-over-loose-parts-that-can-detach-while-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11412\/","title":{"rendered":"Ford recalls 133K SUVs over loose parts that can detach while driving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ford is recalling nearly 133,000 SUVs over two parts that can detach while the car is in motion, potentially causing a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The rear door window bars and C-pillar trim, which is located near the back windows, may have insufficient adhesive bonding, which can allow the trim to break loose from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The recall includes 132,914 Lincoln 2020-2025 Aviator vehicles. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Owners should bring their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer, where the faulty parts can be repaired or replaced free of charge, the automaker said.<\/p>\n<p>Ford said it expects to send notification letters to owners of the impacted vehicles by July 28. <\/p>\n<p>It will send second letters once the remedy is available.<\/p>\n<p>As of May 29, it was aware of 1,105 warranty claims of the window bars or trim separating from the vehicle.
