They also suggested that, at a minimum, Benadryl should be moved behind the pharmacy counter.<\/p>\n<p>The review highlighted that Benadryl and other drugs containing the same active ingredient can lead to sedation, cognitive impairment, and, in some cases, dangerous cardiac effects.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association provided a statement on behalf of Benadryl&#8217;s manufacturer, Kenvue.
