{"id":114265,"date":"2025-08-03T00:14:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T00:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/114265\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T00:14:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T00:14:09","slug":"fan-arrested-for-throwing-sex-toy-during-valkyries-dream-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/114265\/","title":{"rendered":"Fan arrested for throwing sex toy during Valkyries-Dream game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK &#8212; The WNBA said Saturday that the individual who threw a sex toy onto the court at an <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"bceea196-4263-d338-17a7-9ae40f3aed3f\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/team\/_\/name\/atl\/atlanta-dream\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Dream<\/a> game earlier in the week was arrested and that any person throwing objects onto the court will be ejected from the arena and face a minimum one-year ban.<\/p>\n<p>The incident in Atlanta occurred late in the fourth quarter of the Dream&#8217;s game against Golden State on Tuesday in College Park, Georgia. On Friday, another sex toy was thrown under a basket in Chicago after a whistle was blown to stop play during the third quarter of Golden State&#8217;s 73-66 victory over the Sky. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans,&#8221; the league said in a statement. &#8220;In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sky center <a data-player-guid=\"74e3b928-09c7-ec95-f877-f97869a9d64b\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/player\/_\/id\/2566081\/elizabeth-williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Williams<\/a> said after Friday&#8217;s game: &#8220;It&#8217;s super disrespectful. I don&#8217;t really get the point of it. It&#8217;s really immature. Whoever is doing it needs to grow up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a data-clubhouse-guid=\"ad8ccde6-59b3-fbe6-2faf-a835fa224ca1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/team\/_\/name\/ny\/new-york-liberty\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York Liberty<\/a> forward <a data-player-guid=\"7bce1add-eedb-11c2-3284-1351968dabf2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/player\/_\/id\/2566453\/isabelle-harrison\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isabelle Harrison<\/a> posted on social media about the situation Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;ARENA SECURITY?! Hello??!&#8221; Harrison wrote on X. &#8220;Please do better. It&#8217;s not funny. never was funny. Throwing ANYTHING on the court is so dangerous.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>WNBA arenas have security procedures, with many having either a no-bag policy or some allowing clear bags, often limited in size.
