However, the cosplay received plenty of love from fans in the comments section, though there were a few commenters who also slammed them, including a few football fans.

Before they became social media influencers, Haley and Hanna Cavinder were basketball standouts, both playing for the Miami Hurricanes.

Haley was named to the Second-team All-ACC twice, in 2023 and 2025, while Hanna won several accolades when they were still playing in the Mountain West Conference for Fresno State. After leaving college, they both sought social media careers instead of heading to the WNBA or playing overseas professionally.

Cavinder Twins Talk About Leaving Miami

With the Cavinder Twins now fully focusing on their social media presence and their various endorsement deals. Haley and Hanna Cavinder, however, are not forgetting their time with the Hurricanes and spoke about finally leaving their college life behind.

“This season, our record isn’t the best, and obviously that’s not fun,” Haley told ESPN in an interview. “But playing on the court with Hanna and being able to just leave our careers at the University of Miami together is something I wanted to do.”

As for what they will do next, Hanna noted that they are transitioning into entrepreneurship and that they wanted to do this transition together. She also talked about NIL.

“It’s kind of been in the blood, so being able to see their work ethic every single day definitely resonated with Haley and I at a young age,” Hanna told ESPN. “Even before NIL did pass, we wanted to do something together.
