{"id":11454,"date":"2025-06-24T18:51:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T18:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11454\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T18:51:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T18:51:13","slug":"chicago-pride-parade-2025-route-start-time-map-street-closures-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11454\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicago Pride Parade 2025: Route, start time, map, street closures and more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2025 Chicago Pride Parade is returns to the Northalsted neighborhood on the city&#8217;s North Side Sunday, June 29.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s parade steps off at 11 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/53rd-annual-chicago-pride-parade-in-lakeview\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">LGBTQ+ community celebration<\/a>\u00a0will be &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/chicago-pride-date-announcement-theme\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">United in Pride<\/a>.&#8221; Organizers said this year&#8217;s theme is a call to action and &#8220;highlights the power of coming together, embracing our diversity, and championing love, and equality.&#8221;\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Maya Green and Dr. Catherine Creticos will serve as the 2025 Community Grand Marshals. Both are known for serving the LGBTQ+\u00a0 community by increasing accessibility and advancing health and community wellness.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What time does the Pride Parade start?<\/p>\n<p>Over 150 groups will travel the 20-block route starting at 11 a.m. at the intersection near Grace Street and Broadway.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two-mile route ends near Diversey and Cannon Drive, at the north end of Lincoln Park.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The corner of Sheridan Road and Broadway will be closed for staging.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pride Parade map, street closures and parking restrictions<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/cpp-route-map-2025.png#.png\" alt=\"cpp-route-map-2025.png \" height=\"620\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The areas listed below will restrict parking from 2 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 29:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Both sides of Broadway from Irving Park to Waveland<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Halsted from Sheridan to Waveland<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Broadway from Melrose to Diversey<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Diversey from Broadway 100 feet west of Clark to Cannon Drive<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Waveland from Halsted to Broadway<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Racine from Wellington to Belmont<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Grace from Pine Grove to Fremont<\/li>\n<li>West side of Wilton from Belmont to 3245 N Wilton<\/li>\n<li>South side of Cuyler from Clarendon to Broadway<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Sheridan from Sheffield to Inner Lake Shore Drive<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Clarendon from Broadway to Bittersweet<\/li>\n<li>West side of Clarendon from Bittersweet to Buena<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Fremont from Irving Park to Sheridan<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Lake Shore Drive West from Cannon Drive to Diversey<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Cannon Drive from Diversey to Fullerton<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Diversey from Sheridan to LSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following areas will not allow parking from 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, until 7 a.m. on Monday, June 30:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Both sides of Halsted from Waveland to Wellington (and at the intersection within 200ft in each direction)<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Belmont from 200ft east of Broadway to Racine<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Sheffield from School to Wellington<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Clark from Roscoe to Halsted<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Roscoe, from Clark to Elaine<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Wellington from Sheffield to Halsted<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Addison from Broadway to Sheffield<\/li>\n<li>Both sides of Aldine from Clark to the east alley of Halsted (720-759 W. Aldine)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To locate a towed vehicle, please call 3-1-1 or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webapps1.chicago.gov\/vehiclesearch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">visit this website<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pride Parade street crossings<\/p>\n<p>Street crossings along the parade route include:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addison Street at Halsted Street<\/li>\n<li>Cornelia Avenue at Halsted Street<\/li>\n<li>Buckingham Place at Halsted Street<\/li>\n<li> Briar Place at Broadway<\/li>\n<li>Wellington Avenue at Broadway\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How to get to the Chicago Pride Parade<\/p>\n<p>The CTA Red and Brown lines have stops near the parade route.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the Red Line, Wilson, Sheridan, Addison, and Belmont will be the closest stops to the route. Organizers warn that Addison and Belmont will be the most crowded stops.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On the Brown line, the Belmont, Wellington, and Diversey stops will be the closest for parade access.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CTA buses may be rerouted due to the parade.
