Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>An official kicked the NSFW object off the court before it was removed by a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans,\u201d the league said in a statement. \u201cIn line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A similar <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/01\/sports\/sophie-cunningham-blasts-wnba-fans-for-throwing-sex-toys-on-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">incident also occurred during Friday\u2019s game<\/a> between the Valkyries and Sky, this time with the identical-looking object being tossed onto the court during the third quarter.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unknown if the fan who threw the object during the Sky game was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>The league added that any person who throws objects on the court will be ejected from the corresponding arena and face a minimum ban of one year.<\/p>\n<p>Players around the WNBA have spoken out against the two incidents with Sky center Elizabeth Williams telling the fan who threw the object to \u201cgrow up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s super disrespectful,\u201d Williams told reporters after Friday\u2019s game. \u201cI don\u2019t really get the point of it. It\u2019s really immature. Whoever is doing it needs to grow up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unknown if the fan who threw the object during the Sky game was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>Liberty forward Isabelle Harrison took to social media to address the issue, this time calling out the arena\u2019s security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cARENA SECURITY?! Hello??!\u201d Harrison wrote on X. \u201cPlease do better. It\u2019s not funny. never was funny.
