This is the kind of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/summer-bucket-list-ideas-things-to-do.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fun and flirty energy<\/a> that summer requires. If a gay man can\u2019t greet his female friend\u2013slash\u2013co-worker with a kiss on the lips in front of dozens of cameras, what is the point? What are we doing here? It\u2019s Pride Month! On Monday, at the movie\u2019s New York premiere, he was asked about his kisses with Johansson and gave a perfect answer. \u201cI believe in being able to show love in all different ways,\u201d the Wicked actor told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/media\/videos\/jonathan-bailey-reacts-to-kissing-scarlett-johansson-all-over-the-jurassic-world\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cAnd if you can\u2019t kiss your friends \u2026 life\u2019s too short not to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.thecut.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmcapk13200173b773f4vwe4m@published\" data-word-count=\"64\">The best part about this whole thing is that he\u2019s not even the one initiating the kisses. Every time, she\u2019s the one who pulls him in. And who could blame her? If you were close with Bailey, I\u2019m sure you\u2019d be trying to kiss him at every opportunity, too. Even (especially?) if your husband were just standing off to the side, looking on politely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.thecut.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmcapk19s00193b77fxa2lflz@published\" data-word-count=\"104\">If no one wants to make erotic thrillers or rom-coms with a lick of chemistry, I guess I will settle for co-stars sharing a platonic kiss in public. That being said, I want to see a lot more of it. Pedro Pascal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach locking lips on the Fantastic Four carpet! Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis sharing a peck for Freakier Friday!\u00a0Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande \u2026 well, actually, that might turn into a fan-fiction nightmare for them, so they\u2019re exempt. They should each plant a fat one on Bailey during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/get-ready-for-the-wicked-part-two-trailer-press-tour.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wicked: For Good press tour<\/a> instead.
