<\/p>\n\u201cA shot got fired,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m pretty sure someone got stomped, maybe someone got shot.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police said no one has been found with gunshot injuries so far.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo person with gunshot injuries has been located at this stage as police continue to search the area,\u201d police said in a statement. \u201cThree females, aged 24, 24 and 26 and three males aged 22, 24 and 22, were arrested nearby and will be interviewed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samara, who declined to give her last name, lives nearby and heard the commotion.<\/p>\n
\u201cI heard a crack amongst the noise,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know what it was. I saw two carloads of people running back and forth,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Another neighbour saw an ambulance at first, and a male pinned up against a wall who looked like he was aged about 16.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was bedlam,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
One man who lives in the building outside which the attack happened, who asked not to be identified, said it wasn\u2019t the first time this kind of incident had happened.<\/p>\n
He said a machete had been thrown under his car about three months ago.<\/p>\n
\u201dI\u2019m feeling a little bit rattled; just another day in St Kilda.\u201d<\/p>\n
