The Boston Red Sox are looking to complete a sweep of the Houston Astros<\/a> on Sunday, Aug. 3 when they face off at Fenway Park in Boston.<\/p>\n

Boston has won four straight games and six of its last seven to climb into second in the AL East at 61-51. The squad is still four games behind the Toronto Blue Jays, but half a game ahead of the New York Yankees.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the Red Sox cruised to a 7-3 victory<\/a> after going down 2-0 in the top of the first inning thanks to a Christian Walker 2-run home run. Romy Gonzalez responded in the bottom of the frame<\/a> with a homer of his own to get Boston on the board, and in the third, the squad grabbed a lead it would never relinquish. Trevor Story and Abraham Toro both hit two-run shots, and Story also had an RBI-double in the seventh to close the scoring. On Sunday, Lucas Giolito takes the bump for Boston and Framber Valdez gets the start for the Astros. Valdez is 11-4 on the season with a 2.62 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP while Giolito is 7-2 and has a 3.80 ERA and 1.25 WHIP.<\/p>\n
