{"id":115976,"date":"2025-08-03T16:02:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T16:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/115976\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T16:02:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T16:02:12","slug":"murder-investigation-after-woman-found-with-stab-wounds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/115976\/","title":{"rendered":"Murder investigation after woman found with stab wounds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man has been arrested and a murder investigation has been launched after a woman in her 60s was found in Sydney\u2019s west with stab wounds to her chest.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was found alive and paramedics were called to a unit on Hemphill Avenue in Mount Pritchard at 5.05pm, however she died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police said in a statement that the woman was yet to be formally identified, but she was believed to be aged in her 60s.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command arrested a 28-year-old man at the scene. He was taken to Fairfield Police Station.<\/p>\n<p>Police said it was understood the two were known to each other.
