{"id":11612,"date":"2025-06-24T20:12:25","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T20:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11612\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T20:12:25","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T20:12:25","slug":"man-50-dies-after-being-found-stabbed-in-neck-at-nyc-subway-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/11612\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 50, dies after being found stabbed in neck at NYC subway station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 50-year-old man found stabbed in the back of the neck at a Greenwich Village subway station has died, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2025\/06\/03\/nyc-murders-shootings-drop-lowest-levels-decades\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">police<\/a> said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s medical examiner on Friday declared the death of Vincent Norman a homicide after he succumbed to his injuries at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nychealthandhospitals.org\/locations\/bellevue\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bellevue Hospital.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Transit officers were conducting an inspection at the W. Fourth St.-Washington Square station, at Sixth Ave., around 4:30 a.m. on June 14 when they found Norman unconscious on the mezzanine level near the token booth.<\/p>\n<p>He had been stabbed in the back of the neck, cops said.
