While domestic and international were essentially at parity in their weekend hauls, domestic is dominating the global total at 54%. As noted <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/fantastic-four-first-steps-global-international-box-office-1236468911\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last weekend<\/a>, the split is usually in the other direction, but Asia is a drag here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOne Asian major that has been depressed for some time is seeing some specific bounce. <strong>Korea<\/strong> has a strong local title in the mix, but is also having a love affair with <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/brad-pitt\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brad-pitt\" data-tag=\"brad-pitt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brad Pitt<\/a>-starrer <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/f1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">F1<\/a>. The Apple Original Films racing pic, via Warner Bros, continues to have mega-strong holds \u2014 increasing an incredible 36% in the 6th frame in the market.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn total, the Joseph Kosinski-directed racing pic added <strong>$17.2M<\/strong> from 78 offshore markets this session (a 17% dip overall overseas versus last) to lift the overseas cume to <strong>$372.3M<\/strong>. Global is now <strong>$545.6M<\/strong> which makes F1 <strong>Brad Pitt\u2019s highest-grossing movie ever worldwide<\/strong>, surpassing World War Z.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWe will get into more detail on the above, but here\u2019s a quick snapshot of the other major titles in play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tNew this frame, and flying the flag for comedies, Paramount\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-naked-gun\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-naked-gun\" data-tag=\"the-naked-gun\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Naked Gun<\/a> debuted to <strong>$11.5M<\/strong> from 46 early opening markets. This is 44% above Game Night and 36% over The Heat. The launch reps 73% of the international footprint,\u00a0with 15 markets still to go including France, Brazil Australia and Spain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Top 5 launches were the <strong>UK<\/strong> ($2.3M), <strong>Germany<\/strong> ($2.3M), <strong>Mexico<\/strong> ($674K), <strong>Netherlands<\/strong> ($590K) and <strong>Austria<\/strong> ($430K).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUniversal\/DreamWorks Animation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-bad-guys-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-bad-guys-2\" data-tag=\"the-bad-guys-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Bad Guys 2<\/a>, after debuting in just three overseas markets <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/fantastic-four-first-steps-global-international-box-office-1236468911\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last weekend<\/a>, expanded to 58 in this session. The frame was good for <strong>$16.3M<\/strong> which lifts the early overseas cume to <strong>$22.3M<\/strong>, and with domestic\u2019s bow, the running global total is <strong>$44.5M<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tNote that major markets still to come include Brazil, China, Italy, Germany and Australia, as well as parts of Latin America and Asia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tUniversal\/Amblin\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jurassic-world-rebirth\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jurassic-world-rebirth\" data-tag=\"jurassic-world-rebirth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jurassic World Rebirth<\/a>, meanwhile, devoured another <strong>$16.2M<\/strong> in the 5th overseas frame; 35% off last weekend.
