Don’t forget the name Dominique Malonga.<\/p>\n

The young center still has a long way to go, but she has the upside to be one of the best players in the WNBA.<\/p>\n

And this weekend, she set a league record.<\/p>\n

Malonga is now the youngest player in WNBA history to reach 100 points and 100 rebounds, according to Polymarket Hoops<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As of Sunday, Aug. 3, Malonga is 19 years and 260 days old.<\/p>\n

Malonga entered Sunday having played 27 WNBA games. In that span, she has averaged 5.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting 48.4% from the floor.<\/p>\n

She’s an immensely skilled and athletic, 6-foot-6 player originally from Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Malonga was the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, behind just UConn legend Paige Bueckers.<\/p>\n

She wasn’t a household name at the time of the pick, but her highlights on the draft broadcast immediately got everyone excited.<\/p>\n

At just 19, Malonga hasn’t been used at full throttle by the Storm yet. She still has some development to do.<\/p>\n

But she possesses all-world upside. This won’t be the last time she sets a WNBA record for youngest player to accomplish a feat.<\/p>\n

Just remember the name. She’s a good one.<\/p>\n
