{"id":116553,"date":"2025-08-03T21:25:17","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T21:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/116553\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T21:25:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T21:25:17","slug":"new-exhibitions-at-clifton-springs-gallery-showcase-regional-contemporary-artists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/116553\/","title":{"rendered":"New exhibitions at Clifton Springs gallery showcase regional contemporary artists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Clifton Springs, N.Y. \u2014 Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs is set to unveil two new exhibitions on Saturday, with an opening reception scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>The Main Gallery, which spans the first and second floors, will host &#8220;Geo+Metric,&#8221; a showcase featuring 41 artists from across New York State. <\/p>\n<p>The exhibition includes a diverse range of artwork, from quilts and beadwork by Randee Spruce of the Seneca Nation-Heron Clan to ink on paper and bronze dimensional work by Dejan Pejovic.<\/p>\n<p>In the Stairwell Gallery, visitors can explore new work by Rochester-based artist Nancy Wiley. <\/p>\n<p>Wiley, known for her portrait paintings, has developed a fascination with how hands can convey characteristics as much as facial expressions.
