Rowling<\/a>\u2018s relentless spewing of anti-trans rhetoric as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv-movies\/tv-movie-news\/pedro-pascal-slams-j-k-rowling-anti-trans-1235324204\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cheinous loser behavior\u201d<\/a> earlier this year. In a recent interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/story\/pedro-pascal-cover-story\" target=\"_blank\">Vanity Fair,<\/a> his own sister Javiera Balmaceda backed his stance, saying, \u201cBut it is heinous loser behavior. And he said that as the older brother to someone, saying that our little sister doesn\u2019t exist.\u201d Pascal, whose sister Lux Pascal came out as trans in 2021, told the magazine that his drive to defend goes deeper than just family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThe one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, \u2018Am I helping? Am I fucking helping?\u2019\u201d he said. It\u2019s a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected. Listen, I want to protect the people I love. But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me fucking sick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tPascal added that he felt for a moment like \u201cthat kid that got sent to the principal\u2019s office a lot for behavioral issues in public schools in Texas, feeling scared and thinking, What\u2019d I do?\u201d But the principle of his stance outweighed any external anxiety that might have accompanied the online spat.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tElsewhere in the interview, Pascal is placed at the scene of his 50th birthday celebration.
