All four of those drivers reside in the top five of the NASCAR Cup Series standings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\"><strong>NASCAR Cup Series Standings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Full NASCAR standings can be <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nascar.com\/standings\/nascar-cup-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">found here. <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Byron used a remarkable fuel-saving strategy to take hold of the lead and eventually win the race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Byron jumped ahead of his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott for the lead in the Cup Series standings. He now holds an 18-point advantage over the driver of the No. 9 car. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Byron&#8217;s victory also ensured that every race winner from the 2025 regular season will compete in the 16-driver postseason. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">There are three races left in the regular season and three playoff spots left to fill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Brad Keselowski attempted to become the 14th difference race winner. He won both stages, but came up short of the win in third place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Keselowski is buried down in 19th place in the Cup Series standings, so he needs to win at some point in the next three weeks to make the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Ty Gibbs is in possession of the last playoff spot. He leads Austin Cindric by six points for 16th place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The push for the NASCAR postseason continues next week at Watkins Glen.
