Manchester United fans didn\u2019t think twice about dropping their two cents on Bryan Mbeumo after Ruben Amorim\u2019s summer signing finally made his debut against Everton on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo linked up with Manchester United<\/a> for the pre-season tour of the United States, but the Red Devils new boy missed the opening two matches.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old France-born winger had been at the centre of a long-drawn-out summer transfer saga, with United\u2019s first two bids for Mbeumo<\/a> rejected in June.<\/p>\n

However, the Red Devils maintained their pursuit of the former Brentford star and United finally landed Mbeumo on their third attempt<\/a> in July ahead of the US tour.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s deal with Brentford for Mbeumo<\/a> saw the Red Devils pay an initial \u00a365m transfer fee for the former Bees ace, with a further \u00a36m included in add-ons.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils\u2019 \u00a371m package for the Cameroon international eclipsed United\u2019s fee for the signing of Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Premier League side Wolves in June.<\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> travelled to Georgia and the Red Devils faced David Moyes\u2019<\/a> Everton side at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for their pre-season clash.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> made the surprising call to drop Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> to the bench and started Bryan Mbeumo as one of two strikers in his tactical system alongside Matheus Cunha.<\/p>\n

United fans<\/a> took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and the reaction to Mbeumo\u2019s debut performance was full of praise after his attacking threat.<\/p>\n

One Red Devils supporter wrote: \u201cMbeumo is on beast mode. I am liking what I am seeing already.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCalling it now, Mbeumo will be our player of the season,\u201d another United fan boldly predicted.<\/p>\n

A third X user said: \u201cLook, Mbeumo was worth the wait. The saga is officially justified.\u201d<\/p>\n

Somebody else posted: \u201cLove to see Mbeumo fighting in the box!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBryan Mbeumo [is] such a bright spark,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

While a sixth suggested: \u201cBruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo are a force [that] the PL [Premier League] ain\u2019t ready for yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

And a seventh tweeted: \u201cI can\u2019t remember the last time I saw someone latch onto a saved effort like Mbeumo just did, so unlucky to not score, but how refreshing to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow does Mbeumo move that quickly? He\u2019s so fast,\u201d someone else commented.<\/p>\n

What happened in the Man Utd vs Everton match amid Bryan Mbeumo\u2019s long-awaited debut for the Red Devils?<\/strong><\/p>\n

United delivered the first blow of the contest on Sunday evening after Red Devils skipper Bruno Fernandes<\/a> broke the deadlock from the spot-kick in the 19th minute.<\/p>\n

Amad Diallo<\/a> was brought down inside the box by Everton defender James Tarkowski and the referee pointed to the spot in the first half at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.<\/p>\n

But the Toffees hit back against United ahead of half-time and attacking midfielder Iliman Ndiaye cancelled out Bruno Fernandes\u2019 penalty effort in the 40th minute.<\/p>\n

United restored their advantage over Everton in the second half after Fernandes picked out Mason Mount<\/a>, who curled a superb strike past Jordan Pickford.<\/p>\n

Mason Mount put United 2-1 up in the 69th minute, but the Red Devils\u2019 lead was short-lived after Ayden Heaven<\/a> put the ball in the back of his own net six minutes later.<\/p>\n

Amorim\u2019s men have played their final Premier League Summer Series tie in the United States and the Red Devils will play the last match of the tour back in England.<\/p>\n
