The crew of four cruised by the Press Site in SpaceX Teslas, waving to media.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to FLORIDA TODAY&#8217;s live coverage of the Starlink 10-30 mission!<\/p>\n<p>For those up late,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/08\/01\/what-to-know-spacex-rocket-launch-falcon-9-dragon-of-nasa-crew-11-in-florida-today\/85460634007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 rocket<\/a> on a Starlink mission overnight from Cape Canaveral.<\/p>\n<p>The launch is now set for no earlier than 3:57 a.m. Monday August 4 from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/07\/30\/photos-spacex-falcon-9-rocket-launch-starlink-in-cape-caanveral-florida-tuesday-night\/85411558007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral <\/a>Space Force Station. Should SpaceX need more time to make the launch, the window runs until 4:11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The mission, known as Starlink 10-30, is the next batch of SpaceX&#8217;s Starlink internet satellites. T-minus:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>38 minutes:<\/strong>\u00a0SpaceX launch director verifies \u201cgo\u201d for propellant load.<\/li>\n<li><strong>35 minutes:<\/strong>\u00a0Rocket-grade kerosene and first-stage liquid oxygen loading begins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>16 minutes:<\/strong>\u00a0Second-stage liquid oxygen loading begins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7 minutes:<\/strong>\u00a0Falcon 9 begins engine chill prior to launch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 minute:<\/strong>\u00a0Command flight computer begins final prelaunch checks; propellant tank pressurization to flight pressure begins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>45 seconds:<\/strong>\u00a0SpaceX launch director verifies \u201cgo\u201d for launch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3 seconds:<\/strong>\u00a0Engine controller commands engine ignition sequence to start.<\/li>\n<li><strong>0 seconds:<\/strong>\u00a0Liftoff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SpaceX Falcon 9 fueling now underway<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 3:27 a.m.:<\/strong> Visual cues indicate Falcon 9 fueling procedures are now underway at Launch Complex 40, though SpaceX has yet to make an official announcement.<\/p>\n<p>That means tonight\u2019s Starlink mission is now locked in to lift off at 3:57 a.m. without any countdown delays, or else the launch must be postponed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 3:09 a.m.:<\/strong> The launch has now slipped to 3:57 a.m. SpaceX has not given a reason for the delay, yet weather lingers to the north.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 3:00 a.m.: <\/strong>This first-stage, also known as the booster, is seeing its 21st flight this morning. It previously flew 14 Starlink missions, Axiom Ax-2, Euclid, Axiom Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, and NG-21.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2:48 a.m.: <\/strong>Liftoff is in less than an hour, if all continues to go well with weather. Liftoff is now at 3:44 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2:35 a.m.<\/strong>: This morning&#8217;s launch is still set for 3:43 a.m., however weather lingers to the northeast of the Cape.<\/p>\n<p>SpaceX has until 4:11 a.m. to make this launch today. It remains to be seen if weather will clear in time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 2:15 a.m.<\/strong>: SpaceX has once again pushed the launch time. Liftoff is now no earlier than 3:43 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 1:57 a.m.: <\/strong>With weather still over Cape Canaveral, SpaceX has pushed the liftoff time to 3:19 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 1:55 a.m.: <\/strong>While it does not impact this morning&#8217;s launch, weather is shaping up that is worth noting.<\/p>\n<p>Tropical Storm Dexter has formed out in the Atlantic Ocean yet poses no threat to Florida. The system is predicted to move away from the U.S. and pass north of Bermuda.<\/p>\n<p>The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is watching two other possible areas of tropical weather development in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Disturbance number three (in yellow) has a 20% chance of development this coming week. The rocket&#8217;s first-stage booster will land out on the Just Read the Instructions\u00a0drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 12:08 a.m.:<\/strong> In case you missed it, NASA&#8217;s SpaceX Crew-11 docked to the International Space Station during the early hours of Saturday. The four launched to the ISS from NASA&#8217;s Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A on the morning of Friday, August 1.<\/p>\n<p>As Crew-10 now prepares to come home, Crew-11 settle in for at least a six-month stay. Crew-11 will be onboard the ISS for a milestone anniversary in Novemeber \u2212 25 years of continuous crew rotations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update 11:55 p.m.: <\/strong>As storms moved through the area, SpaceX pushed the launch to 1:27 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>As lightning still flashes in the skies over Brevard, storms are currently moving out of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke Edwards is a Space Reporter for Florida Today.
