I think it\u2019s ridiculous that \u2018The View\u2019\u00a0has had \u2026 102 left-leaning guests and zero conservatives,\u201d Charlamagne said on \u201cThe Breakfast Club\u201d on Monday, after appearing on Fox News\u2019 \u201cMy View with Lara Trump\u201d on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is ridiculous to have a platform and \u2026 only talk to people that you agree with. That makes no sense whatsoever to me,\u201d he said of the liberal<\/a> ABC daytime talk show, which features Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, among other hosts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The discussion touched on \u201cThe View,\u201d<\/a> a\u00a0notoriously anti-Trump show, being the subject of a recent study by the Media Research Center (MRC).\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ABC News program continued to display an overwhelming lack of balance during the first seven months of 2025 with 102 left-leaning guests and zero conservatives, according to the MRC. It was unclear how many Republicans or conservatives, if any, had been invited, who may have then declined.<\/p>\n

The MRC analyzed every episode of \u201cThe View\u201d<\/a> from January 6, when the program returned from a winter hiatus, through July 25, and found that it failed to book a single right-leaning guest to discuss politics. The watchdog\u00a0previously found\u00a0in April that the show booked 63 liberal guests and zero conservatives.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s why they\u2019ve only spoken to liberals about politics on the show so far this year,\u201d NewsBusters associate editor Nicholas Fondacaro told\u00a0Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n
