{"id":120157,"date":"2025-08-05T06:14:15","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T06:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/120157\/"},"modified":"2025-08-05T06:14:15","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T06:14:15","slug":"3-drivers-wanted-in-fatal-west-adams-hit-and-run-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/120157\/","title":{"rendered":"3 drivers wanted in fatal West Adams hit-and-run \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are looking for three drivers involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed one pedestrian Sunday night in the West Adams neighborhood, officials said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Around 9 p.m., a driver heading northbound on La Brea Avenue struck a 61-year-old man who was walking in an unmarked crosswalk eastbound from Roseland Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After he was struck down on the street, the victim was hit by at least two other vehicles that were also traveling northbound on La Brea Avenue, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>None of the drivers from the three vehicles stopped to identify themselves or render help after striking the man.<\/p>\n<p>Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead while he was being taken to a nearby hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The man\u2019s identity will not be released until additional family is notified, police said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotorists are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,\u201d the LAPD said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Traffic Division at 323-421-2500.
